Talakona Complete- Waterfall Bathing Shiva Temple and Jungle safari

Talakona is about 60 kms from Tirupati. Talakona waterfall is the tallest waterfall of Andhra Pradesh, This is complete video on Talkona tour, which consists of :

Siddheswar Swamy Temple near Talkona Waterfall Andhra Pradesh

There is a very old Shiva temple about 2kms before Talakona waterfall. If you go to the waterfall you will first see the temple and then see the waterfall. However, we first went to the waterfall and later visited the temple at the time of return. The name of the temple is Siddheswar Swamy temple. As I mentioned in previous video Talkona waterfall is located in Sri Venkateswar national park of Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. Th waterfall is about 60kms from the temple city of Tirupati.
As you can see Siddheswar Swamy temple is a typical south Indian Temple with Dravidian structure. The main deity of the temple is lord Shiva in the name of Siddheswar Swamy. Other than that there are temples of lord Murugan, Ganapati and Navagraha. You can do archane in the temple at a small fee of 10rs. If you believe in Lord Shiva, it is a great opportunity to visit this temple while going to Talakona waterfall. This may take about 15 minutes of your time to visit this temple.

Jungle Safari near Talkona Waterfall Andhra Pradesh

After visiting Talkona waterfall we went to Siddheswara Swamy temple and Jungle Safari. Jungle safari is located at a few kilometers distance on the way from Talakona to Bhakarpeta. There were few nice trees and some monkeys. There is also water flowing in a canal which makes a beautiful view. Apart from that there is nothing more to see. If you are a nature lover and you have sufficient time then you may visit this place otherwise you may skip this place during your Talkona trip.

Talakona waterfall is situated about 60kms from Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. It is the tallest waterfall of Andhra Pradesh. From tirupati you can go by bus or taxi, Alternatively you can go from Tirupati to Bhakarpeta by bus and from Bhakarpeta to Talkona by Auto rikshaw. After getting down from the vehicle you have to walk about half km through the forest route to reach Talkona waterfall. We went there on a Sunday and there was huge crowd on that day. Some were climbing on the dangerous cliffs, and some were bathing under the water stream. Everywhere there were people and people and the activities of people were even more interesting than the natural beauty of the waterfall. If you are going to Tirupati don’t forget to visit this beautiful spot.
