We went these temples by a package tour conducted by APTDC in collaboration with TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devastastanam). This is non-local temple tour which covers 7 temples around Tirupati. This is called non-local temple tour as because there is another local temple tour which covers 6 temples inside Tirupati town.
This non-local temple tour covers 7 important temples around Tirupati, 30-50kms distance each. Total duration 8 hours, Starting- 9 AM, Return- 5 PM, ticket 375 rs per head, total road covered around 200kms. The sequence of temples visited is as below. Name of the place is given near the name of the temple.
1. Venugopala swamy temple, karvetinagaram, π
2. Kariya Manikya Swamy temple, Nagari, π
3. Kashi Visweswara temple, Bugga, π
4. Vedanarayana Swamy Temple, Nagalapuram, π
5. Palli Kodandeswara Temple, Surutapalli.πππ
6. Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple, Narayanavanam, π
7. Prasanna Venkateswara Temple, Appalayagunta, π
All these temples are managed by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam) Trust. There are very old temples, some are renovated recently by TTD. This tour package is very cheap and bus was comfortable. However, the time given was very short for each temple, you have to rush for darshan and come back. Photography is prohibited inside every temple campus. You can take picture only from outside the temple standing on the public road.
